Yoga & Fitness Classes
Tips & Studio Etiquette

At Buckhead Yoga &Wellness we encourage students to take responsibility for their own practice. Yoga is personal, non-competitive and a practice to honor where you are … wherever that may be.

  • Try to arrive 10 to 15 minutes before class to register. Coming early can help you settle in and prepare yourself to be present for your practice.
  • Our yoga studio is a sacred space. If you are arriving for a yoga class, please remove your shoes before walking on the natural cork floor.
  • We are pleased to offer yoga mats, props and towels to students free of charge, however it is highly recommended that you bring your own personal yoga mat for hygienic reasons.
  • Do not eat for at least two hours before class. Yoga should not be practiced on a full stomach.
  • Wear leggings, yoga pants, tights or shorts and a top that will allow the teacher to see how you are aligned. All clothing should be comfortable and allow the body to breathe.
  • If you have an injury or other problem that would affect your practice, please tell your teacher before class begins.
  • If you are pregnant, have experienced a serious injury, or have serious chronic health problems please check with your doctor before beginning to practice yoga.
  • Remember to drink plenty of water after each class.
Quiet Please …
  • No cell phone use in the studio, massage rooms or in the public areas.
  • Help us maintain a tone of wellness by being quiet in public areas, especially outside the massage rooms.
